Sharon Gooch Browning Keith

SAVANNAH – Sharon Gooch Browning Keith passed away Sunday evening, October 24, 2010, at Hospice House. The Lord came and took her to Heaven with her adoring husband Jack, daughter Karen, and son Danny at her side. She was preceded in death by her father, Lucian Gooch, and her mother, Anna Weimar Gooch.

Sharon was born January 2, 1942 in Savannah. The family moved to Beaufort, SC in the early 1950's and she graduated from Beaufort High School in the Class of 1960.

She later returned to Savannah and retired from the Housing Authority of Savannah in 2000.

Sharon is survived by her loving husband Jack Keith; her son Danial Browning; her daughter Karen Jamie Morris; her sister Joan Bob Wilkinson; her brother Barry Jean Gooch; grandchildren, Austin, Summer, and Hunter Morris, and Scarlett Browning; step-children Karen Tech, Jackie Sigoloff, Deborah Burruel, and Sean Keith; and her Best Friend Sandra Browning.

A Memorial Service will be held at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, October 27, 2010, at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Hospice Savannah, Inc., P.O. Box 13190, Savannah, GA 31416.
